Temporary Skill Shortage visa
The Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) Visa - Subclass 482 lets an employer sponsor a suitably skilled worker to fill a position they can’t find a suitably skilled Australian to fill.
Eligibility

The foreign worker must be nominated to work in an occupation listed on the Department of Home Affairs website.

Have at least two years of experience in the relevant field.

Work exclusively for the sponsoring company or employer.

Meet the minimum English language proficiency requirements, unless exempt.

If necessary, undergo a skills assessment for the nominated occupation.

Types Of TSS Visa - Subclass 482
There are three streams of 482 Visa available. Which one is the your scenario?
Short-Term Stream
The Short-Term Stream allows a stay of up to two years, or up to four years if an International Trade Obligation applies.
Under this stream, the occupation must be listed on the short-term skilled occupations list.
Medium - Term Stream
The Medium-Term Stream (MTS) allows a stay in Australia for up to four years.
Your occupation must be listed on either the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) or the Regional Occupation List (ROL).
Small Title
The Labour Agreement Stream allows for a stay of up to four years.
Employers must have a labour agreement in place with the government to sponsor under this stream
